ISD’s Clean Transportation Team has launched its Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Mobility Plan, a major step toward achieving a fossil-fuel-free future by 2045. Funded by a Caltrans grant and developed by the Internal Services Department (ISD), the plan outlines strategies to electrify the County fleet, expand employee rideshare programs, and enhance EV infrastructure through community input. With over 8,000 vehicles assessed and more than 3,700 chargers planned, the ZEV Plan will reduce emissions, cut costs, and support a cleaner, more sustainable LA County.

Through a California Energy Commission grant, Los Angeles County has partnered with Black and Veatch and S Curve Strategies to deliver a must-attend five-part webinar series designed to equip electric vehicle charging project decision-makers with the knowledge they need to succeed. Whether you’re a facility manager, project manager, Authority Having Jurisdiction, or higher education professional, this series will provide expert insights, best practices, and actionable strategies for deploying EV charging infrastructure efficiently and cost-effectively.
Each webinar is paired with companion factsheets to reinforce key takeaways and provide practical guidance. In addition to the five core webinars, the series includes two supplemental trainings developed for community colleges to provide more technical and real-world application of EVSE installation, service, and maintenance processes.
