Rosemead Library Electric Vehicle Charging Station Ribbon Cutting

LA County Internal Services Department (ISD) partnered with the Library to install EV charging stations.
The ribbon cutting will be at the Rosemead Library Parking Lot. The program will start at 10:30 a.m.
Speakers will include executives from ISD, County Library, and Southern California Edison
In continued efforts to educate communities about the benefits of owning an electric vehicle, LA County Library, County of Los Angeles Internal Services Department, and Southern California Edison will host a family friendly event that features opportunities for attendees to explore electric vehicles, speak to electric vehicles drivers, practice using a charging station, and learn about incentives to owning an electric vehicle.
As part of its sustainability plan to install 5,000 charging stations at County facilities by 2025, ISD continues to expand access in local communities. As the County moves forward in making that goal a reality, Rosemead Library will receive 26 electric vehicle charging stations on June 24, 2023.
