Department of Consumer and Business Affairs Center for Financial Empowerment Presents; Financial Capabilities Summit 2023
The summit is a unique gathering of experts from local government, non-profit organizations, financial institutions and philanthropy. The event’s program focuses on providing stakeholders with resources and strategies to empower low-moderate income County residents.
The Center for Financial Empowerment’s mission is to convene, advocate, and build capacity to strengthen the financial health of County residents, with a focus on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), to build economic resiliency. The goal of the conference is to provide County departments, non-profit agencies, and others with the information and tools they need to better serve low-moderate income consumers. The conference will serve as a platform for engaging in group discussions, problem solving and fostering collaboration across sectors.
