The County’s Consolidated Video Conference Purchase Program (CVPP) is an expansion of the County’s Consolidated Computer Purchase Program (CCPP). On June 19, 2007, the Board of Supervisors adopted the CCPP as the standard County business practice for acquisition of all Computer, Laptop/Tablets, and Monitor device assets. These programs provide an easy purchasing mechanism for County Departments to acquire video conferencing technology commodities and related services. The program standardizes technical configurations for commodities such as Telepresence/Collaboration equipment, Codecs, Conference Cameras, and Interactive Displays to maximize savings through economies of scale and obtain the lowest device costs.
